Until 2024, he was a professor of real estate management in Hamburg and Hanover. M. Töllner regularly publishes in trade journals and books. He is the owner and managing director of T1 Immobilienbewertung. His regional focus is on Lower Saxony.
Since 2009, he has been a publicly appointed and sworn expert for real estate valuation. He is approved by BAFin for valuation in the field of investment companies (real estate funds). He is a member of the expert committee for property values of the state capital of Hanover.
